Perhaps you’ve been fortunate enough to miss the trend, so I’ll explain it here for you. Social media is filled with groups of women doing coordinated dances. Many of them are sororities. Some of them are at work. Others, at various social events, or sometimes just a group of friends at home.
There’s a range of clothing, dance styles, and music choices accompanying these videos.
There’s also a range of opinions surrounding them.
Most people don’t care. Some find the routines fun. Others are inspired to make there own. And some genuinely believe these videos mark the downfall of society that will have us living out the plot behind the movie “Idiocracy” in a matter of days if that’s not what we’re living in already.
If you find yourself among the latter, I need to warn you about something important and then explain why it’s actually important before you roll your eyes and stop reading. Here it is:
